The Ministry of Human Services and Social Security is currently conducting interviews for persons who will fill positions for the “support staff” in the first ever Family Court. Nandlall said that he is aware that the Judicial Service Commission has interviewed several persons for appointments to the High Court as judges. Like Minister Webster, Nandlall had highlighted that the issue of furnishing was holding up the commissioning of the court.He said that he was aware that a decision was made for a particular contractor to provide these items, but it was decided that the cost quoted was too exorbitant.
